YES on one-step writer websites, YES to 5 free HTTS Live Chats, now scheduled

Zen Balancing Rocks o a Deck, New ZealandI’ve finally caught my breath on one of the wilder February/March combos I’ve been through.

So now it’s time for me to catch up on a couple of things that have been left hanging.

Writers’ One-Step Website Software. THAT’s a big YES.

First, Dan’s and my question about whether anyone besides me wanted a one-step writer website was a resounding YES.

So here’s the deal:

If you get on the BETA list and let us know what you want, take a few questionnaires that will let us figure out what needs to be designed and built first, later, and not at all, and/or participate in the beta testing, and when we have the various parts of this ready to go live, you’ll have the opportunity to get early-adopter discounts.

Some of these will be time-limited, some will be limited by number, some will be both, so you’ll need to act fast—but you’ll have plenty of notice beforehand.

I’m interested in the software. I like Scrivener, but still have some problems with it. I’ve listened/watched two webinars on using it, but – must be me!

I have a feeling that this is going to be a very busy year. Oh, well. I can focus when I have to and still get through.

    Go for it, Holly.

Woohoo – so exited to see this coming to fruition for you, Dan, and all of us!

I can’t wait to see what all the software can do! I have tried several writing software programs and I’m at a loss!

As for the chats, thankfully I can attend the one for April 7th. Since I don’t have a flexible schedule, my times varies.

You’ll be able to attend replays at your convenience. Unlike the first one, these won’t be on YouTube, but they will remain free and available in the Webinar room.

I’m happy to see that the software is going to happen. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Thanks for cooking up the next step of awesome!

Can’t wait to see the new software. Yes to both – although I’ll be interstate a lot this month.

Me, too, on if they’ll be available afterward. They are happening when I’m at work. ๐Ÿ™

I’m leaving the replays set up. You’ll be able to see all of them on your schedule. You just won’t be able to add any questions.

Will the chats be recorded / available later in any form? I am in Australia, and they will be at 4 am my time, so I am not going to be on there live!

They will be. See the question above yours.

    Hi Holly,
Is it possible to download them after the chat? You always put them on at 3am — and I set the alarm and I TRY to get up – I really do, but so far I’ve only made one of the last two!
    Thanks,
    Cheryl

You’ll be able to watch. I’m not at all sure about downloading. It’s new software, and I don’t know whether it’ll permit downloads or not.

The chats look interesting. How exactly do they work and what happens in them?

For a couple of reasons (one, my experience with WordPress is the polar opposite of Holly’s, and two, Scrivener hates my guts — while the feeling’s not quite mutual, it’s close enough so as not to matter [wry g]), I’m not interested in the software.

I was wondering the same thing.

It’s pretty simple. You log in with your browser, I show up and answer the questions I’ve already received from writers, you ask questions into a chat window.

If there’s time at the end, I answer those. If there isn’t, I save them to answer in a separate live chat. ๐Ÿ˜€

I’m so excited about the writing software and the webinars! ๐Ÿ˜€

I love Scrivener, so it’s going to take quite a bit to get me to switch to anything new. I’m looking forward to seeing what you and Dan have up your sleeves. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I tried to sign up for the webinar, but when I click “register now” nothing happens. lol I’ll try again later. ๐Ÿ™‚
