I talked over "C" with my agent yesterday. Damn near broke her — one shouldn’t break one’s agent. The style of the work was offputting. But she loved the story.
So I put a little free time into the story last night (exactly one half hour — I timed myself — and got a preliminary five hundred word synopsis. I don’t like it yet. It’s messy and it hits the high points in the wrong order. So my first bit of business today is to spend an hour straightening it out. Then I’ll move on to LGD and see if I can get three thousand words there.
