WABWM: Tues, Sept 25, 2012

7:51 AM

Don’t feel well today. Too bad. Deadlines wait for no one.

Am at the point where I’m going to have to do a replacement plot card: Cool things happened yesterday that created actions that created consequences I’d not anticipated. I love the twistiness of what comes next.

STARTING COUNT: 56,022
GOAL: 1500+
CURRENT SCENE: Production and Delivery

If you have not yet commented on the post on my weblog about changing the site for this back to my weblog, please do:

And joyful writing.

12:01 PM

Still feel awful, but it didn’t get in the way of the writing.

ENDING TOTAL: 58,115
TODAY: 2,096

Finished Production and Delivery with a nice transition, and total candy-bar stuff that I get to write tomorrow.

And an unplanned, unanticipated conversation between Cady and Nose (ex-slave, current privateer, one of Storm Rat’s top guys) has given me food for thought and a potential new direction a couple books down the line.

END NOTE: FOR A WHILE, I’m going to post my daily WABWM run in the forum as I’m writing. When I’m done, I’ll copy my own run, bring it over here, and folks who would prefer to play on the blog can post here.

This is NOT the permanent state of things. I detest duplicating effort, and at the end of the trial run, I’ll decide which of these two formats does better for me, my readers, and the writers who are playing.

    Dear Holly,
Really sorry to read you are unwell today. You must be truely unwell to mention it in the first place because one does not imagine you a moaner or slacker. (Lud no!, you are full of vigour).
My good wishes to a quick and full recovery.
    Regards,
    Graham Long

Seconded. Motion to make Holly feel better carried. All in favor? Of course! 😉

Hope your Wednesday sings, pain and suffering absent.

I hope you feel better. It’s exciting to see the progress bar get closer to finish. Is the planned pub date still November 15th?

Yes. With a lot of work to go before then. 😀
