3063 brand new words total today, and the story is now moving firmly in the new direction. I have to remember to focus on the relationship between the two leads on a regular basis and not get totally and exclusively sucked into the murder line of the story.
Still feel like I’m working in a completely foreign language right now — or at least a foreign culture. I know how things are done back where I come from (fantasy/SF) but I’m still pretty shaky on how we do things where I’ve landed.
