I use Imitrex at the very first sensation of a migraine. The sooner I take it, the less intense it gets. There are different strengths, too. Hope you feel better soon.

I went from 15 days of migraine a month to maybe one or two on a medication called Topamax. It’s an anti-seizure medication that prevents the headaches from occurring and has a very low incidence of side-effects. I take half the dose recommended for seizure medication.
