Lt. Cmdr. Thomas Vetter, USN, Ret., was one of the pilots of the Trieste II, and is a friend of mine. I’m pretty sure I got the picture from him. Since he was in the thing, he obviously didn’t take the picture, but I will let him know about your comment.

I was a crew member aboard the T-II in the late 70’s and early 80’s. I took that photo (and a lot more) during that time. I have a post on the T-II crew members’ website with photos (http://www.bathyscaphtrieste.org/contents/hogan1/index.htm) from that time. I’m sure Tom got it from there. I’m okay with you using it, but would appreciate it if you would give me credit.
