Time to Move On

I’ve had my vacation and then some.

So back to work. Now that the store is up and running, thanks to Margaret, I’m getting the rest of the support work done. The affiliate program is making money for folks, I’ve added an affiliate support board. I have to update the links on the site to reflect the presence of the store.

And today, along with working more on crits and WB workshops, I need to work out my writing plan for the next six months. (Last year was a good example of why I’m not going to be doing it for a full year.)

Gradually, everything is coming together.

A question:

I want to do the following Clinics — Plotting, Revise and Submit, Storyshowing, and Worldbuilding. Which would you most like to see next?

I should note that my post was supposed to be the order of my preferences. 🙂 Which means I want to see the Plotting Plinic most of all, with Revise & Submit a very close second.

The short list:

Worldbuilding
Revise and Submit

I’m not sure what you mean by Storyshowing, either. Could you give us a brief explanation or example of what that would be?

I think this is a great idea! 🙂

Plotting or worldbuilding, please.

As Miss Nienke said, I would be interested on a short mention on how to build an ordinary town or city.

I don’t know what Storyshowing is either, but it sounds like it might be interesting. I’m very interested in plotting. Also, in Worldbuilding, do you cover non-fantasy/scifi worlds? I read in your Worldbuilding Workshop that you recommend Worldbuilding for all novels, even those that are set in your hometown. If you cover all types of worlds, I’m in.
Next on my list Revise & Submit.

Worldbuilding! Then Plotting, Storyshowing and finally Revise and Submit. It kind of makes sense to me to have things go in “order” if you know what I mean. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

It’s a toss up between Plotting and Worldbuilding for me. Though, I’m not sure what ‘storyshowing’ is/means and it sounds interesting.

Wow, I guess that wasn’t much help! 🙂

Well, I’d like to see all of them, but for now I’ll put in my vote for Storyshowing. And Plotting.

Storyshowing sounds neat and unique to the pool of writing how-to books. I’d love to see that.

Are you going to let us know what your writing plan looks like? I’m curious.
