AOL Time-Warner (of which my publisher Warner Books is one part) just posted that loss. It’s a bit tough to take their caution personally in the wake of such crummy numbers on their part, even if the loss is really a stock-valuation thing, so that it mostly exists on paper. I’m still looking for a better deal elsewhere, of course. But the response I received becomes a lot more understandable.
