  1. This is unrelated, but could you maybe give some sort of update about The Emerald Sun? Even if it’s canceled or on hold indefinitely. I’ve been checking your blog every few months for years, but haven’t seen it mentioned in a very long time.

    • I’ve had to completely rebuild my business site over the last two years, and have been dealing with dysplasia that I’m fighting to keep from turning into cancer.

I just had what I hope will be my final tongue surgery on Friday. I’m rebuilding the last of my classes on the new site this month.

With those done, I have The Emerald Sun up on the Big Board along with the final stories for the Longview Series.

Barring disasters, I could be writing it next year.

      • Thank you so much for the answer! I’m really glad that your doing better, and I hope that you do find time to write The Emerald Sun at some point. Started the series in middle school and always wondered how it was supposed to end. Best of luck!

  2. Good to hear, Holly. Those big classes would be a nightmare to re-format for convenience. I don’t envy you any. I’m glad you’ve got as much done as you have, give all the other issues you’ve had to deal with in the past six months or so. Kudos to you and Dan.

  3. “It” = How to think Sideways. I already own HTWAS-E. Sorry. On this side of the ocean it already has been a long day 😉

  4. Is there a vague timetable for the Big Courses?
I want to take it this time, and my education/improvement budget ist ready for it.
If it definitly won’t be back before September, I can take another non-writing-related class I’m interested in, and replenish my budget until the next launch.
If it will be before then, I probably won’t make it.
If you are not sure, I wait, no problem.
    I just thought I’d ask. 🙂
