Heard from Claire through Robin today that the proposal still won’t work. It lacks a compelling one-line hook. (Which means a complete rewrite, incidentally — don’t think I just have to come up with one good line.)
So I’ll set my back brain to digging around for things to toss at this, and when I finish the revision for LGD, my subconscious should have served up something workable and exciting for me.
The money now would have been nice, of course. But … oh, well. You make do.
