At least I’m up.
Matt finished the edit about 7 AM. I, however, woke up at 4 AM, couldn’t get back to sleep (pinging about an edit does that to me) and when I got up at 7, had both a migraine and a sore throat. BAD sore throat—it’s been building for a few days, but today is awful.
So. After he went over the main problems with me, I went back to bed. Just got up, and I don’t feel any better. 🙁
I’m going to go start going through the manuscript in a few minutes, but I’ve been taking pictures of the revision process, and I figured I’d post a few of them here.

Love seeing this. It makes mine look so tawdry somehow. The pics show it all.
Made it to page 298 out of 498 on the edit write-in.
Hit a point where I’m going to have to make some significant changes.
Also completely wiped out. Going to bed. Taking tomorrow off.
I love the pictures! Seeing your revision process in action thrills me.
1818 words for me today. As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches both my word count and my posting may suffer, but I’m way ahead of where I need to be. 🙂
Hope you’re feeling better soon, Holly!
Holly sorry to hear about your migraine and sore throat I however have a suggestion for your sore throat you could try some honey and lemon.
Sending healthy, soothing vibes your way. And virtual hot soup and tea.
Peace and rest,
Jen and hens
REst well and get better. You’ll find working much easier when you’re in top notch health. Sometimes, the body just needs a little rest, and you’ve well earned it. BTW, chamomile tea might help soothing your throat.
Hope you feel better, Holly! If the sore throat is a sign of a cold, you might try taking Airborne. I don’t know if it’s just a placebo effect, but it always makes me feel better.
Also, the pictures of your editing process are somehow titillating. I think it calls to my inner organizational nerd. Multi-color Post-its! How dazzling! 😉
My process is the top four pictures.
The bottom one is my editor husband’s.
Oh, I know. I like all the pictures. The entire process looks interesting.
