Over the last two days, I’ve done 10,000-ish words per day on the write-in revision for Suzee Delight.
I’m VERY happy with the way it turned out.
I’ll do type-in tomorrow.
Getting close to being able to take it live.

That’s terrific news, Holly. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
Yeah ๐ I am so looking forward to read it!
Wow – how long did it take you to do the revision for Light Through Fog?
I don’t remember exactly at this point, but I do remember that when I took the job, I had something like six weeks to turn in a finished story, and I was using writing the story as the demo for a class, so I had hardly any time to actually write it.
By the time I got down to revision, I think I was nose up against my turn-in date.
So probably about a day for the write-in. Probably a day or two for the type-in. A LOT of revision gets done during type-in.
I have a good system, though. By the time I finish first draft, I already have in-manuscript notes on the parts I know I broke while writing, and I have all my tools for fixing the stuff I find as I read. ๐
So short story revisions go quickly.
I am taking HTRYN for the first time and using a short story with HTTS surgical marks. I am very pleased to have the insight these have provided as I move forward. Thanks for answering this, Holly ๐
