Starting scene thirty-eight

Having killed one of the heroines for the second time and sent the other one across the abyss of death in search of a lost love, I have to say I’m rather pleased with the way this outline is turning out. And I’m leaning toward either The Wreck of Heaven or What Memory Remains as my titles now — either would fit nicely with the story that’s evolving.

I’m trying to keep jubilation to a minimum, though — I had high points working on the last two versions of this novel. I will say that this time I have a coherent story, and the stakes are nicely overwhelming.
