I’ll have the full audiobook available from my own site in a few days. The audiobook is over two hours in length (nice for a few days of short commutes), and for early purchasers, I’ll be offering it for less than what such audiobooks usually go for.
Questions are welcome, of course. 😀
That’s really cool.
I’ll be on the lookout for the audio books, Mark was impressive.
Best of luck with all your upcoming projects. Take care 🙂
This was quite enjoyable. I don’t know who Mark Deaton is but listening to him was very pleasant. There’s a grim undertone when he reads the narrator’s part, that fits the dark side of the story’s world.
I liked the versatility in the characters’ voices. The geek in me kept thinking: he has to do voices for video games if he hasn’t already. LOL
How did you find him to create your audiobook? And how does it feel to hear your own characters talk? Did you give him directions about each character’s personality or was it all his own interpretation?
Mark is my son. He’s been doing audio for quite a few years. And for the most part, the characters are his own interpretations. He’s setting up his online audio business now—it’s not quite ready to go.
And, yes—he did a wonderful job with the narrator. It fits the universe and the stories very nicely. He’s done spectacular things for THE SELLING OF SUZEE DELIGHT, too. 😀
I still have to get both of these projects up in my shop. I’ve just been swamped.
