So much for writing at six a.m.

It’s a conspiracy. I get up, I get settled at the keyboard, bring up my document, post my intent to get going early … and the child who sleeps until nine a.m. wakes up demanding my immediate attention at full voice.

So I’m just getting started now.

Based on yesterday’s success, and on the fact that I woke up this morning with a terrific idea for how to wrap the proposal, I’ll be doing the 2500 words on the book first, followed by the thousand-or-whatever that it will take me to get to the end. I’m excited about all today’s writing. In the novel, Lauren comes home from the afterlife to a real mess. Should be a fun scene to do.
