Seduction

I fell into the seductive lure of finishing off the last of the Community site pages — I was close, the old template was driving me nuts every time I ran into it, and . . . hell, I was procrastinating, too. Let’s be real. And now the site is “done” (laughing maniacally, because sites are never, never done. They just wait for the next cool update) but I have damned few words completed.

And tonight is Angel night — shut up, I know it’s a stupid show, but my kids and I love to watch it and Buffy the Vampire Slayer together. It’s our thing. But this means that I’m either going to be writing very, very late, or I’m going to have to quit short of my goal.

Or maybe the fucking word fairy will zap me with inspiration and I won’t have to rip open my jugular tonight to get the pages I’ve been putting off writing because I don’t know what to write.
