Screaming Into A Padded Cell

I know what it is that I want to accomplish with the first chapter. I know what has to go, and if I don’t have exactly what should come in to take its place word for word in the write-in, I still have the rough frame knocked together, and all the corners squared up.

Why am I crawling on this freaking rewrite?

No enlightenment here. No helpful commentary. Nothing brilliant to add to the common knowledge. Dammit, dammit, dammit, dammit.

Why is this so difficult? is all I’ve got.
