Jean had an hour before she had to go to work, so we ran before I even had my eyes all the way open.
I started with 96,407, and ended with 97,273. 866 words. Figured out a serious plot problem that I then fixed, too. She got a bunch of revision pages done, I executed three traitors, and all in all, we pretty much kicked ass.
I could hit 100,000 words today, which would put me at the center of the first draft. It’s only 2727 more words, and would make my total for the day 3593, which is not that much more than I usually do lately.
So that’s my goal for the day: The BIG round number. 100,000 words, and 50% of the book done.
