My starting point for today was 4416, due to some more tossing and shredding. I’m currently at 7086, and starting into a chapter I’ve already written twice, once in first person, and once in third. I’ve tossed both old versions out — this time it’s going to be short and tight and nicely dramatic, without all the damned larded backstory.
Less than a thousand more to go, and then I’ll work on the synopsis.
