Am now on Scene 49 of the new, condensed, refined outline, having written twenty-two pretty extensive scenes in the last couple of hours. I’ve written more than three thousand words today, too — but not a single one that I’ll get to keep.
But.
Only seventeen more scenes to go. And I already have the two ending ones. Writing TO something is a hell of a lot more fun than plugging along with no idea how it’s all going to come out, even if you’re not sure the steps it’ll take to get there.
