Slow going over the last two days. The type-in includes such helpful comments as [Add new scene here, including ….], followed by what I wanted to accomplish with the new scene. I’ve taken out more than four thousand words between yesterday and today, and am still about 1800 words up from where I started. But for all that frantic writing, I’m still only on page 108 of the type-in, and looking over tomorrow’s work, I have much more of the same.
The book is better. The book is much, much, much better, and I’m excited about how it’s coming together. It simply isn’t doing it quickly enough, dammit.
