i thought i’d won when the dude didn’t show for 2 days. well, maybe he’ll not be able to pay & i’ll get the default win. is that an evil thought? 😉

    i’m losing, i’m losing. 🙁
can’t go over $450… that’s my “online credit card” limit, and i’m not going to risk putting my fatter cc# out there for any reason.

    good run, physicist!

You want ME not to get sucked in?! If that isn’t irony I don’t know how to define the word anymore. Five hours would be how much time it would take me to get my feet wet. Then I’d be fiddling around for the absolute joy of it. Don’t get me wrong, you would get your answers. I never miss deadlines. I’d love to try out the Culture Clinic. Why, you ask? I’ve written my ending, and my beginning of my psychological thriller and then hit a wall. My sloggy middle has me bogged down. This could be the answer. I love trying new things. Would you give me a break if I told I’m sick right now too so I totally understand.
(kidney infection) Have you ever tried to write a 400 word thank you article hopped up on a morphine and phenergan drip straight from the emergency room? Now that was something to remember! I didn’t miss the deadline though.
In the last seven years I haven’t let chemo, IV’s, swollen hands, or a huge amount of meds ever interfere with my desire to write
and it has payed off. I’m happier than when I taught 1st grade. I love what I do. My muse gets to do a lot of things I physically cannot do anymore.
    Pick me. Pick me…

I hope this auction works out well for your friend Holly. It’s very generous of you. While I won’t be able to bid this time around I did post about it on my blog.
