Okay — so why does weblog software designed for Unix systems …

… only let you do the cool stuf like right-click blog entries in Internet Explorer? Argh.

Doesn’t matter. I’m not going back to IE except for those sites that won’t use anything else. I love Mozilla. Oh — and if you’re using Mozilla and haven’t changed your theme yet, take a look at DeskMod’s large collection of Mozilla themes. I found Pinball, which is both gorgeous and very thin. You don’t realise how much screen space IE eats until you’ve tried one of the well-designed small-footprint themes. There are several on the site — click on the name of the one you want and it will take you to the install page. Click Install, and when the theme has loaded, in your browser click View >> Apply Theme >> [name of theme]. Then shut down all open instances of your browser, and bring it back up. Beautiful.

Writing. Yes — I’m getting started on revising. Should finish the last of the proposal this morning so that I can get it out to Russ tomorrow; I still have one set of crits pending that I want to get before I call the case closed and zip the thing off. But I’m very happy with it.

And if it sells, I’ll post the first chapter in Sneak Peeks — haven’t done any good sneaks in a while.
