Not Sure They’re the Right Words

Finished with 112,531 words. The problem is, I don’t know if they’re the right words. And the fact is, I won’t find out until this first draft is done on March 22nd, and I dive into what I have do doubt is going to be a grim, complicated 27 days of massive rewriting.

I’ve had a productive day today, though, and the words at least felt good enough that I can shut down for the day satisfied to keep them.

Tomorrow, along with my HAWKSPAR writing, I’ll be starting into the process of working out a handful of proposals for the work-for-hire project that I’ll be doing next. My first choice of project was vetoed because of the perception that the subject is too well known. So I’ll be looking for more obscure subjects that will be equally interesting to research and write.
