Jean and I wrote together again. Today I hit what turned into difficult waters. I pushed my way out, and think I’ve left myself set up for a couple of exciting scenes tomorrow, but I slogged until nearly noon getting my three thousand words. Final count for the day, 121,840, or 3091 words. No 6000-word days lately, you’ll note. I’ve gone far, far away from the original outline, and am feeling my way in the dark every morning, only knowing where I eventually have to end up. It does make the mornings challenging lately.
