Moving through the novel at a good clip

I’ve gotten past the part of Midnight Rain I’ve revised so many times I could recite it in my sleep — I’m into the raw stuff now, and grateful. I’m finding a few threads I’d completely dropped, I’m discovering whole areas of the story that I ellipsed as things started to fall into place and I raced forward rather than lose that elusive main thread, and I’m starting to breathe, realizing that I’m going to be able to make this story a lot richer and deeper as I add the necessary length to it.

That said, I’m going to get back to work.
