Midnight Rain Re-redux

The re-re-revised proposal for Midnight Rain went out the door this morning. I think (I THINK) I nailed it this time, patched all holes, answered all questions, and still tied the ending up nice and tight. I think …. There is, of course, no way of knowing whether I genuinely succeeded until I hear back.

This is one of the things that makes writing for a living such an interesting job (and when I say “interesting”, the voice I hear in my head is Bugs Bunny while he’s talking to the monster Gossamer, just before he curls Gossamer’s hair with dynamite and explodes him. That sort of interesting.) I wouldn’t trade it for another job, of course.
