After my wondeful phone conversation with my editor, Claire, about the revisions to the Onyx proposal, I jumped merrily into the revisions, enthused that we were finally able to move on to the next step.
Claire evidently remembered to e-mail Robin, and was as happy with the conversation as I had been.
I managed to forget this crucial step, however. So Robin got Claire’s happy e-mail, plus dead silence from me. And just called, checking to make sure that I hadn’t had a completely opposite reaction to the conversation and gone off to hang myself.
