Just about ready for send-off

The GREEN MAGIC proposal is just about ready for send-off. Due to the ongoing stresses, I haven’t been pushing myself–I’ve just let myself get a little done each day and have been satisfied with that. Finished the revision last night, and am doing a read-through today. I’d say that I’ll do the synopsis tomorrow, but I’m not going to push even that hard. I’ll do as much of it as I can, going a little at a time. My expectations for myself right now are just to get some words on the page five days a week. That’s it. No counting, no timers, no goals.

Oh yes. I forgot to mention one was gone already… the gal who stocks them always stuffs the racks full. And they’re restocked on Tuesdays, so it’d been there a whole two days. And she doesn’t choose her books, they’re chosen by other higher-up… which suggests that there are lots of other stores that higher-up buys for out there with them, too. 🙂

Oh. So cool. Looks like somebody bought one of the Night Echoes, too. 😀

Thank you for the news, which is, all things considered, pretty good.

Hey! I have bad news and good news. 🙂 Bad news is, that local store finally took Talyn off the rack this week. Better news… it’s been there since mid-January. I have never, ever noticed a book be restocked there for longer then a month-ish. And I’d notice. Four months is just… forever.

And the good news? As I was checking all the books to make sure Talyn was really gone, and that I wasn’t missing anything else interesting, I found this:

    AND I found this, too:

And the gal standing there looking at magazines thought I was absolutely nuts, taking pictures of books…

Congrats to you! Now, does this go to your agent or to a publisher? Good luck.
