It’s time for TYPE-IN! (frikkin’ FINALLY…) #WABWM

Write-in is DONE!

On to TYPE-IN! It took me 45 minutes just to get my documents and desk set up.

Scrivener revision doc, write-in pages, technical schematics, notebook with tagnotes and fixes, copies of published HTCB and the WARPAINT first draft on the Kindle so I can do quick word searches, pens, index cards, earphones (in case the Disco Queen erupts again).

And there was a certain amount of (aherrm!) cleaning necessary before those things could be put in place.

But. Working now. The write-in was massive. No idea how long the book will be. But…longer. Not sure how long it will take.

As long as it takes.

Finished the write-in last night at eleven-thirty pm, after having worked on it all day except for my meal.

Onward.

Write with joy, get good stuff. 😀

    Holly, just wanted to say that as excited as I am for Warpaint, don’t worry about changing your publication date. I’ve waited years for this sequel, so a few more weeks won’t hurt me in the slightest.

    I just finished re-reading Corrigan’s Blood on the Kindle and left an Amazon review. I’ve never re-read a book so quickly in my life! I don’t know how you managed to suck me in so completely when I already knew the ending, but you did.

    Also, the poem made me cry. Again. Sigh.

    SO EXCITED FOR WARPAINT.

      I’m getting happier with it every day. I keep reminding myself that rushing is not in the best interests of the story…but I want to have it done so people can READ it.

    2516 words today for a Nano total of 15120. The plot thickens! Really, it’s actually thicking…conflicts are emerging, characters are becoming three dimentional…junk food is getting low…

    Thank goodness for a friend’s belated birthday tonight! I can finally thaw the chocolate ganashe torte in the freezer.

    I’ll still take some fries with that, though.
