Inventor of the Political Compass

Apparently the presenters of the Political Compass Quiz have been, ah … disingenuous … about the actual origins of the political compass they said they devised. They have, in fact, claimed credit for the work of noted SF author Dr. Jerry Pournelle, who published the political compass as The Pournelle Axes in 1986. And they stole his work without so without so much as a citation, which, considering their Compass is an exact copy of his Axes, is no minor oversight. This particular bit of intellectual thievery is disgusting, and I thought you folks ought to know.
