Odds are it isn’t going to be pretty … until it is.
I’m just sick of the layout, the navigation, the complexity of the whole thing.
So I’m doing what I can to strip it down to something cleaner and easier to use, and once I do that, I’ll add a fiction shop back in so that folks can get my fiction, including some exclusives, directly from me.
But first — UGH!

You rescued my account last year. however, I’m having trouble accessing the site now. I keep getting an error message that says that the site can’t be accessed due to too may redirections.

So far so good. I used to get so lost on the site, I would give up. I will add, though, I was looking for a book you have on your header and could not find it. Light Through Fog? So, maybe that area needs a look.
Someone else offered to test, and I would be happy to also. I am pretty good a diabolical testing, so be sure to ask when you are looking for broken links. I can do less diabolical testing too. 😎 Glad to help.
I definitely miss the old site, even with its unwieldiness. Ever since the switch, I’ve been lying low, waiting . . . But now I need to get back in, and I’m having trouble. I purchased HTRYN in October, but was not able to start the class until this week. I’ve been trying to get into the forums since Monday with no luck. When I click on one of the forum post links at the bottom of Lesson 1, I’m just taken to a page that gives me about three options: a 10-minute writing room chat, a “stuck on revision?” quiz (which I took but never got the video in my email), and “words for the new year.” No forums. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong! I would post this in a help ticket, but I can’t even seem to find that. I’m feeling very stupid!

Replacing the theme, cleaning up navigation…
At the point where we have HollysWritingClasses.com and ReadersMeetWriters.com up and running, I’ll switch this site over to the same software I’m using for those sites. At which point I may need some help.
That’s about two years in the future, though, best guess.
And I need some new furniture and wallpaper in here…
