The HAWKSPAR revision is flying. It is beautiful, it is flowing, it’s the story my heart has been aching to get back to and finally I’m here, and the act of burying myself in the story and digging deep is better than I thought it would be. I’ve made massive progress this morning. I took a few minutes to sneak away to crow, and now I’ll get back to work. But this is lovely stuff, like sprouting wings without warning and launching into a crisp, cold blue sky.
I’m dancing on air, just a little

Shay, I’m not sure how the final deadline stuff will work out. I haven’t received the hardcopy of the required edits yet, and looking over the manuscript and finding the actual due date on it will tell me more that the initial edit letter. And, while I’ve been soaring along on HAWKSPAR, I have now hit an area of slower progress, as changes made before are requiring changes now, and the weight of necessary consistency is dragging around my ankles. You can tell from my progress bar that I don’t have much more to go. The thirty-some thousand remaining words, however, may take longer than I hope. And there’s still type-in.

Great! Hope it goes well. Congrats on the grandma news, too, though I know I’m a tad late. I hope your schedule works out so everything gets done!

Glad to hear it. Its odd, but I had the same type of writing day today. I had to remove myself from the keyboard to return blood flow to my legs.

It’s great when everything works – especially when the characters suddenly start telling the story. but glad the revision is going well – is it still as big as the last picture you posted?
