I’m changing templates

The next couple of days may be a bit rocky for the writing diary. I’m changing templates to match it to my main site, (which is now MUCH upgraded, take a peek) and it’s a completely new template, which means I can’t use anything I have set up from the current one.

Please bear with me. The result will be cool.

I like the new template, enough color to keep it interesting, but enough white space to make it easy to read and find things.

I thought that was pretty cool, too. I wanted something warmer for the whole site.

I’m still trying to locate the right entries in the weblog css. I want to increase the weblog text font, and decrease the sidebar fonts.

But having learned how to use this between yesterday and today, I’ve decided to go with Rocket Themes instead of Thesis for all my site templates, including the much-delayed Rebel Tales site. Rocket Themes are more expensive than Thesis, which is a one-time use-everywhere them. But they’re hugely easier to learn.

Oh, wow! It looks absolutely fantastic. I LOVE that orangey red and the pattern of linked hexagons.
