Hero and heroine now know they’re the targets

Today’s task — push them together in a situation where their options are steadily reduced and their danger steadily increases. I’m hoping to have time for the heroine’s point of view, a brief interlude with the hero, and a visit from either the villain or the ghost.

And I have the soundtrack for the book in place. It’s a bit strange, but these are the songs that seem to resonate with the book, and that are encouraging the flow of words:

  • Queen of Argyll — Silly Wizard
  • Black Balloon — Goo Goo Dolls
  • Acoustic #3 — Goo Goo Dolls
  • Canon in D — Pachelbel
  • A Case of You — Joni Mitchell
  • Simple Man — Lyrard Skynard
  • Here Is Gone — Goo Goo Dolls
  • Black-Eyed Dog — Nick Drake
  • This Is Real — lisahall
  • Slide — Goo Goo Dolls
  • The Blackbird — Silly Wizard
  • What’s Your Name — Lynard Skynard
  • Fisherman’s Song — Silly Wizard
  • Lullabye (Goodnight, My Angel) — Billy Joel
  • Got to Give It Up, Part 1 — Marvin Gaye
  • This Kiss — Faith Hill
  • Slide — Goo Goo Dolls
  • Sympathy — Goo Goo Dolls
  • Overcome — Live
  • Name — Goo Goo Dolls
  • Bravado — Rush
  • Iris — Goo Goo Doll
  • Nowhere and Everywhere — Michelle Lewis
  • Sweet Home Alabama — Lynard Skynard
