Had to Rebuild the Weblog by Hand

Nearly three hours putting the thing back together. But I wanted this fixed before we started moving things around. The weblog is back to the old template, which I was thoroughly sick of, but, ah well. I was going to change the look of HollyLisle.com once we finished all the moving around anyway. All the entries I had to put in by hand have times of either 6:03 or 7:03 AM because I had no idea what time I actually wrote them, and had no way of finding out. Dates should be correct. Comments (those I have not removed) should be back in place.

But now I can start using this thing again.

I’d like to chip in my vote for "Real Writers… Drift In An Eternal Sea of Tranquility, Certainty And Fulfilment." Or, on Mondays, "Real Writers… Deal Painful Death With One Glance Of Their Evil Death-Dealing Eyes of Painful Doom." I *don’t* like Mondays…

    Whatever floats your boat.

If Holly wants a castle and a maid, that’s cool.

If Shelia want’s a beach house and surfer boy toy, that’s cool also.

I’d hold out for the Skylark of Valeron and Rosie the Robot 🙂

I’d like to have reason to change the weblog name. Perhaps to Real Writers Roll Around in Huge Piles of Filthy Lucre in Their Castles While the Maid Makes Dinner.

Can we make that Beach House instead of castle and surfer boy toy instead of maid?

(I mean, hey, I know real writers bounce, but you’ve bounced enough…)

Well, perhaps something shorter than that, but you get the idea. For now, however, Real Writers … BOunCE remains awfully apt.

It *is* good to see your Blog’s back among us. It’s quite a week you’ve been having! Let’s all raise a glass to a short happy period of stability (I mean, hey, I know real writers bounce, but you’ve bounced enough…)

Glad to see you and the blog back, Holly!

Here’s to hoping you get back your life, too.

And there was a time when all a writer had to know how to do was unjam some keys and put in a typewriter ribbon …

Echoing Jim’s comments. The community looks remarkably complete. It could have been far worse.

I’m glad your back up! And sorry for the hassles.
