Focusing on double-crosses

I’m having better luck tonight. The scene is coming together nicely as I focus on the lies and double-crosses the various players are trying to carry off without getting caught. I have a walloping big surprise creeping up on a couple of my good guys, who were sure they’d just made the big catch. This one is going to be the one that got away — and it might get one of them killed, though I haven’t decided yet.

And as soon as I finish that, I need to have a visit from the Maegwar, who is deliciously scary. And then on to the wonders of other worlds, and the pain of saying goodbye.
