The ending landed with the sort of Mary Lou Retton bang you only hope for. At 178,718 words, the first draft is done. I have no doubt whatsoever that the revision will run over 200,000 words, but these last pages have been sheer and utter joy to write.
And now I have a few extra days for other things.
I am dancing wildly, and with great glee.
