I’m bleary-eyed and exhausted from several weeks of worry and lack of sleep, but I’m back.
The news is excellent. My brother-in-law came through the second surgery beautifully. He’s at home today, and while he’ll be on disability for a couple of months while he recuperates, he is himself, and all the horrible things that could have happened didn’t.
I’m still going to be around sparsely for the rest of the month. We had a huge amount of hard physical work staring us in the face before all this started, and we put it aside for the last couple weeks (for obvious reasons)…but our completion deadline is the end of this month. All the work’s still there, and now we have half the time to do it.
So I’m going to spend today mostly sleeping. And I’m going to work like a dog the rest of the month.
After that, I hope to be back here regularly again. I’ve missed being here.
Look after yourself, Holly. It’s very upsetting to hear that you have been unwell yourself. And I’m not surprised. When I see all the things you do it boggles my mind. There would need to be 100 of me to do all that you do! Please take a rest. We would hate to see you land up in hospital. But I’m glad to hear your BIL came through his surgery well.
Wow, I’ve been reading in the wrong spot. Really glad to hear about your brother-in-law’s success and recuperation, may it be smooth sailing from here!
Holly, didn’t know. SO glad to hear all is going to be well. We will keep you and your family in our prayers for a speedy recovery and a successful finish to the hard labor. Again, so glad to hear the good news.
That is such good news! Hope you give yourself enough time to re-adjust. One day here or there isn’t going to make much difference to work-load, but could strengthen you and yours substantially.
I have recently had a brain tumor removed (surgery went very well) and am taking follow-up treatments.
My best wishes are with your brother-in-law.
-Steve
Great news! Take some time for yourself to recharge and regain your balance. Wishing good things for you and your family, Mark.
Hi Holly… glad to hear that things went well for your brother in law. I’m not surprised you’re feeling whacked out. Take good care of yourself. We’ll be here, Alice
Glad to hear that your brother-in-law has come through the ordeal! I wish him all the best as he recovers. And you too! Look after yourself and recuperate too.
Thanks for sharing your good news 🙂
So glad to hear it went well. Good luck with the physical work. We’ve missed you, but everyone understands. Rest well.
Everyone else said it beautifully. Take the time you need to rest, focus on the things that you need to get done now. We’ll always be here. I’m so happy that things worked out!
We’ve missed you Holly and I’ve had you and your family in my prayers. I’m so glad that your BIL is doing well and hope his recovery goes smoothly.
Hang in there!
So glad to hear about the positive outcome for your BIL. I hope that’s not the kind of tumor that comes back. I wish I could come help you with your hard physical labor.
I am ever grateful that he made it alive and as well as can be expected. Take all the time you need to get your energy back, Holly. We’ll be here when you are ready.
I’m so glad he’s doing well!
Take care of yourself. We’ll be here when you get back. 🙂
Holly, that is great news! I’ve been praying that things would get better for you. Keep in touch!

Hang in there, and good luck with the workload. 🙂
Oh, that’s wonderful news. I’m so glad to hear it. And of course, take as much time as you need.

That’s great news! Thanks for the update, and we’ll be here when you get back.
This is great news, Holly. Take all the time you need to rest and recover. We miss you, but we are your grown-up children – we will behave and take care of each other until you are back 🙂
Great news. Take your time. We’ll be waiting. 🙂
Glad to hear the positive outcome. Rest up and come back as you can. Lots of good energy for the hard work ahead coming your way.
I’m glad to hear your brother-in-law came through the surgery well! Sleep well, and good luck on all the work to be done.
