3001 words. And I’m at the end of the all-new material. I’ve found a way to condense it, to tie in story elements faster, and to increase the pace while still hitting all the points I had to hit.
Starting tomorrow, I should be able to begin revising existing portions of manuscript instead of writing fresh. If so, that would do good things for my deadline.
But I’ll figure that out tomorrow, when I’m fresh. Right now I’m too tired to deal with anything else. Have been awake since four AM, and I’m feeling it.
