Had a couple of bad days, and can’t afford to have those right now.
At the moment, I have 54,672 words on ISY. I need to have between 90,000 and 100,000 first-draft words by November 20th, and the same number of final-draft words by November 30th.
I have fifteen writing days to create between 35,328 words and 45,328 words. I’m going to do a split breakdown.
To get the book to 90,000 words, I have to write:
2355 words per day.
To get it to 100,000 words, I have to write:
3021 words per day.
There is no advantage to a longer book rather than a shorter book, other than it gives me more room to work.
My goal, however, will be 3100 wpd on ISY.
CCC will get done as it gets done. I’d love to finish the first draft by the end of the month, but the contract goal trumps the personal goal in the priority list.
