  1. I love this post. I think because it reminds me of some of my writing sessions, when I realize what I THOUGHT was going to work is not going to work. And then I have to tear my hair out trying to fix it … The one good thing is that the fix, when I finally get it, always seems to introduce something really awesome and new to the story, something I didn’t see coming. So in the end the story is better off, and I’ve come to look at these problems as opportunities.

    Or at least I try — the “brain sanding” can still hurt a lot!

      Yeah, it really can.

      But, hey… if this were easy, everyone (or at least about 95% of everyone) would do it.
