Have just this instant finished the proofreading on the LAST of the 29 lessons of How To Think Sideways. In a second, I’m going to send off the proofing sheets to Booknook.biz, but right now, I’m dancing around the office.
Happy, happy, that’s me.
With the proofing done, I can move on to setting up pages (in my shop, and on Amazon and B&N) for the lessons.
After that, where the HTTS Direct is concerned, I’ll need to do the print versions.
After that, I’ll go through this same process with How To Revise Your Novel (with fewer lessons and fewer handouts, and a smaller, specialized audience, this will be a smaller production all around).
Happy, happy. Don’t want to list everything that comes after that. Just want to dance a bit, at passing an enormous milestone, and now seeing it through the rear-view mirror.
Huzzah! And congratulations on another step toward being free to write full time again.
Wonderful, a jouyful celebration, you must have felt you were floating effortlessly with that pressure released! Just finished the first draft (with many revisions) of Hold This! and can relate with fellow feeling.
Awesome! I’d be dancing, too, with such an accomplishment. ^_^
Wooo! Congratulations Holly! I’m glad you are getting closer and closer to writing full time! 😀
😀 Thank you.
Congratulations Holly! More Cadence Drake now, right?
Cady is still only on weekends for a while.
I still have to get back all of the finished versions, set up product pages, upload each PDF, .mobi, and .epub file to each platform I’m offering it on, do ALL the print versions, update all the PDF versions from the print versions (to eliminate as many of the surviving errors as possible) and send links for the free upgrade downloads to everyone who bought the existing PDFs.
And do all this same stuff for the 22-week How To Revise Your Novel course.
But I can see progress now. HTTS is the most enormous undertaking I’ve ever attempted, and with today’s completion, I’m about 90% done with it.
Hooray! Milestone rearview euphoria is one of the best feelings in the world. Congrats!
Thanks!
