   What a wonderful story. Cool, cute dog, too.

   I don’t know that I’d go so far as to say that dogs are better than people. There are a lot of firefighters, nurses, EMTs, and just plain folks who risk their lives to help others–more, I suspect, than there are hero dogs. I think it’s pretty amazing, though, when dogs do something so human as to risk their lives for someone else.

   That is indeed a moving story. Dogs are better’n people, that’s the way I see it.

   We have a doggy hero in our house too. Not so dramatic, but it was still astounding: Tuck the Wonder Puppy
