Closing on the Revision Ending

Spent yesterday dog-sick and mostly asleep on the couch. Today, I’m much better. I’m well into the revisions on Night Echoes, and I figure I have a few more days of hard work to take it to the finish. My biggest focus right now is coming up with a more satisfying last few lines; if I don’t get those in the first draft, I spend a lot of time while I’m revising looking for the right point in the body of the story to come back to and resolve at the very end. I have a couple of candidates right now, but I’m still not there. The cat currently has the last words, but I’m not pleased with any of them. (No, the cat doesn’t speak. But the last words are devoted to him.)

Onward.

Are you playing with the blog layout again? 🙂

I like the one that’s up right now, it’s very clear and easy on the eyes.

Last words as as tricky as those pesky beginnings; many books just dribble out instead of ending with a good line, imho.

Good luck in finding yours.

What amazes me most about what you do is the ability to work on multiple projects at once. Hell…I’m fortunate if I can keep one going smoothly 🙂
