C: The Secret Project

I’ve had "C" (the code name for my current secret project) on my hard drive for a while now, but last night I had to break it out and work on it for a while. I had this breathtaking revelation about its structure that suddenly gave me scene after scene — my fingers were flying as I threw everything I was getting down in words. I’d never been entirely sure how I was going to handle the story, because it’s … odd.

But then, MIDNIGHT RAIN started out as a secret project, and in its first years of life, it too was odd.

I gave C its own category, because for one thing, projects of passion deserve their own space even if they aren’t being written with any eye toward future sales. And also because with it up here, I’ll have to find a way to make time for it, or be stuck with this one sad entry in the C: The Secret topic nagging me and reminding me of this beautiful thing that’s waiting for me to come back.
