So here’s the deal. My stress right now is through the roof. The majority of it is from things I cannot control, because writers are the people with the absolute least control in the publishing industry.
You know the Serenity Prayer, right?
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Not having much luck with the serenity, and the only thing I can change is me.
So for the next few days at least, I’m upping my word quota to 4000 words per day. This will allow me to build a buffer again on HAWKSPAR, and channel the frustration and worry in a useful direction.
