    Works great. Love the colors!

  • Charlene Teglia Aug 22, 2006 @ 8:22

Works for me on (K)Ubuntu with Firefox. Snazzy, I like it!

  • jessiegirl21 Aug 21, 2006 @ 19:26

I actually liked the white background and orange header.

  • Angelique Aug 21, 2006 @ 15:20

    Works for me 🙂

  • shawna Aug 21, 2006 @ 12:05

Mmm… yeah. Almost forgot. Looking forward to seeing those recipes for magical socks you mention over on that “whole site” list…

(I’m still in awe at your creativity in making knitting part of your daily work, lol.)

I really like this template! It’s so clean and easy on the eyes.

The e-mails are from a comment subscription plugin that you may or may not have installed. Check your plugins list and look for one called something like Subscribe to Comments and turn it off. I’m not sure if you actually have it installed though because the subscription manager page that’s supposed to come packaged with the plugin (and linked through the “manage your subscriptions” link below the comment box) isn’t working.

AJAX commenting is just a fancy way of reloading the comment list without reloading the whole page.

As noted before, the colors on the template were stock, and are going. This includes white background and orange header. I killed the slider; it was causing perpetual loading for a lot of people. I killed AJAX commenting (anyone know what that is?) because I suspect it of being at least partially responsible for folks getting a whole bunch of comments as emails in their inbox this morning. I’m still doing type-in, and I don’t have the time to mess with any more of this today, but I did want to let you know I’ve addressed the main functional issues, and will get to the cosmetic stuff soon.

Does it have to have a white bg? x.x Very hard on the eyes. I like the pale blue on the main page.

  • PolarBear Aug 21, 2006 @ 8:40

I get the perpetual loading on the slider bar at home, too. It loads fast and clean here at work on IE 6, but at home, the site is a fairly slow loader, all things considered.

  • BJSteeves Aug 21, 2006 @ 7:42

Yes. I’m running FireFox on RedHat’s Fedora Core 3 linux and I have no problems with it.

On a personal note, I am not crazy about the red/orange color used in your banner, I never liked those colors, so that is just my opinion.

Otherwise, this is a nice clean template! Very nice job!

OK, I didn’t notice the slider bar before. Now that I read about it, I can’t get it to work– perpetual “loading”. Both computers, both browsers. I’ll give it a try again tomorrow.

It works in Firefox on Mac OSX Panther. Yay Wordpress!

  • Jim Aug 20, 2006 @ 16:47

Works well in both IE6 and the AOL9 browser.

  • e_Jim Aug 20, 2006 @ 16:29

This works great on IE.6 much easier to read and loads faster. I hope you stick with it.

    I really like this layout.

  • JeriT Aug 20, 2006 @ 16:06

I love the new layout. And I love the orange! Miss your seasonal color changes over on FM. I think they use the same layout since you left! 😉

  • NoelFigart Aug 20, 2006 @ 15:50

I’m using the latest version of Firefox and it works just fine. I like it.

  • Bridget Aug 20, 2006 @ 15:49

Works for me in both IE 6 and Firefox latest release (don’t know the version number).

  • Monica Aug 20, 2006 @ 14:47

My Opera isn’t updated because I use it so seldom. (I’m a Firefox girl) It’s 8.51

  • shay Aug 20, 2006 @ 14:38

    works in IE 🙂

  • nicolane Aug 20, 2006 @ 14:11

Hi, I am using Opera – Version 9.01 (upgraded last week) and everything is fine.

  • heather Aug 20, 2006 @ 13:54

Looks good for me. I’m using IE.

  • Monica Aug 20, 2006 @ 13:40

I opened up Opera just to try it. It showed up fine, But it wouldn’t let me log in. It would flip and not show me as logged in. I went back to Firefox (latest release) and logged in just fine.

  • hollylisle Aug 20, 2006 @ 12:56

Those quotes are my collection. I, too, like the slider bar. The orange is going.

  • fionaphoenix Aug 20, 2006 @ 12:54

Looks fine in IE6.0 on my WindowsXP machine. I like the slider bar for moving to other pages.

  • shawna Aug 20, 2006 @ 12:43

Yes, it it a might small, but I can live with that. Question, though— are all those quotes your collection, or did they come with the template? They’re great.

  • Gabriele Aug 20, 2006 @ 12:30

It works on Internet Exploder (at least on mine; we’ve figured out before my IE is too scared of me to not work, lol), but the script is a bit small.

*want the eyes back she had at 20*

  • shawna Aug 20, 2006 @ 12:29

Works in FF and IE6, here. Going to need sunglasses, though, if you’re keeping the orange…

  • arrvee Aug 20, 2006 @ 12:27

FF and IE 6.0 on Win98. Lookin’ good!

  • Aergonaut Aug 20, 2006 @ 12:24

    All systems go.

  • miladyinsanity Aug 20, 2006 @ 11:37

    Looking good!

  • Alison Kent Aug 20, 2006 @ 11:31

    Works in FF, yep!

  • PolarBear Aug 20, 2006 @ 11:28

Works for me in Firefox 1.0.7 and IE 6.0.
