Beat the alarm again

Yesterday was an unplanned day off — so, since today was the planned day off, I just switched. Beat the alarm clock out of bed, and today I’ll do the revisions my first readers found. The whole this is very close to done — I’ll send it to my agent on Monday morning and do the happy dance, and the get back to work on Midnight Rain.

I need to get to the end of that, now, because the third contracted World Gates book is due in December, and time is rolling. Midnight Rain wasn’t done in June. My calendar is compressing.

But, by God, I’m having a wonderful time.

When all’s said and done, that’s the most important thing. There’s nothing worse than looking back over something and wondering ‘Why did I do that?’
But to be able to look back and say ‘I really enjoyed that!’ makes it all worthwhile.

Hope it lasts!

David.

Yayyy! Congratulations – and I am very, very relieved there will be a third contracted World Gates book. I love that series.
