And how IS the book?

Yeah. Well. The last few days have been chaotic. However, I’m getting a handle on everything, and am now sitting down to do the last of the all-new pages before moving back to revision pages. Oh, the joy of revision pages. Inserting new material is tough — the temptation to fall back on characters sitting and drinking coffee while thinking can get extreme, but I have persevered. The new stuff is nice and tense and has some good scares and creeps in it, and should be seamless enough that it won’t be identifiable as late-entry material.

So, Midnight Rain is still on schedule, I think, for getting to beta readers in the next week and off to my agent by the first part of next month. And that’s a very good thing. I’m already thinking about what I can write next.

I’ve wanted to read this since I saw the preview chapter. I know you’ve said you’ve made major changes, but I still look forward to it, so this is good news!
